Alex Stepney is a decorated former goalkeeper who played with top flight teams and saw plenty of success, and is now a popular after dinner speaker who recites plenty of amusing and informative tales from his time in the game.

The goalkeeper for the team when they became the first English team ever to win the European Cup, Stepney was one of the most revered players of his time. Initially joining Tooting & Mitcham United, Stepney was spotted by Millwall who signed him as an amateur in 1963, only to develop into a professional within two months, an acknowledgment to his noticeable potential.

The evening will consist of a Reception, super 3 Course Meal with choice of menu, Guest Speaker(s), Auction of Super items of Memorabilia, and Raffle. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO SUPPORT REDNEWS AND STRETFORD HIGH SCHOOL.

This event will be limited to 250 persons.

This Dinner celebrates our 16th Anniversary. Because of this, and other circumstances involved, attendance is fully expected to be over subscribed. Already, demand is high simply because we do not advertise this event to the general public, especially in the UK as priority is given to the 606 Sub Group, Red News Members, Supporters Trust, Red Republik, Danish Supporters Group, South African Supporters Group, and of course Stretford High School.

Places that are available will go on sale from 1st November 2018 and the price per ticket will be £50.00 pounds per person
